When something breaks, it's obvious.
Except when something is someone.
It starts off slow
- a bad day here, a bad day there -
and you don't see the cracks.
Than, all at once, you come to realize
pieces of you are lying in a heap.
You feel like a mess and try to hide.
A faked smile and pretend laugh fool most.
The pain of being fragmented
is a constant reminder that only you feel.
And you long for that day
- a magical, mythical day -
of when someone will put you back together.

("Broken Souls" sounds better to me than "Broken Human" or something...)
Monday was a hard day for me... totally broke down in my car after dealing with some stupid computer issues at the library (took over an hour and didn't get any writing done, the whole reason I was at the dang library!). Anyways, that night it got me thinking of the quote that's circulated Facebook "One of these someone is going to come along and hug you so tight that all your broken pieces stick back together." Well, between the breakdown Monday morning and that quote it made me realize just how broken I feel. It got me thinking about how we, as people, slowly break over time as oppose to breaking at once like a lot of things do.

I like this and can relate as well. The evolution you've shown can on be written by someone from a first hand perspective. I hope you're doing okay now. ah, hell... what is okay really but a word meaning 'better than you were'?
